We are pleased to offer 3 Partial & 3 Full Scholarships to deserving individuals from each of the ASEAN countries, as well as China, Japan, South Korea, India, and the European Union, for each category of participation in the Youth Sustainability Forum 2025.
In 2025, as Malaysia assumes the Chairmanship of ASEAN, we are proud to elevate the Youth Sustainability Forum to a regional platform, rebranding it as the ASEAN Youth Sustainability Forum 2025. Held in Kuching, Sarawak—a city celebrated for its cultural diversity and ecological significance—this forum will unite youth leaders from across the ASEAN region to champion the theme "ASEAN Youth for Inclusivity and Sustainability."
This 3rd edition stands as a testament to the success of our previous forums in 2023 and 2024, which involved and inspired youth from all ASEAN nations. Over the past two years, we witnessed the transformative power of youth- driven initiatives and cross-border collaboration, culminating in meaningful contributions to regional sustainability efforts. The 2025 forum builds on this legacy, expanding its scope and ambition to align with Malaysia's ASEAN Chairmanship and the shared vision of a sustainable future.
"ASEAN Youth for Inclusivity and Sustainability" reflects our commitment to empowering young people as agents of change, ensuring no one is left behind in addressing pressing challenges like climate resilience, equitable development, and environmental stewardship. Through thought-provoking workshops, engaging discussions, and collaborative action plans, participants will forge innovative solutions, amplify ASEAN youth's voices on the global stage, and strengthen the region’s role in achieving sustainable development goals.
Set in the heart of Borneo, a region synonymous with environmental significance, the ASEAN Youth Sustainability Forum 2025 is more than an event—it is a movement. This forum embodies the indomitable spirit of ASEAN youth, showcasing their collective resolve to lead the way in shaping an inclusive, sustainable future for generations to come.
Let this inspire, action, ignite passion, and reaffirm our shared commitment to a brighter, more inclusive ASEAN while creating a legacy of youth-driven impact and sustainability that resonates far beyond our region.
